The Productivity Stack

You probably have your system down to a tee. Notion for setting up your work week and planning action items, Google Calendar for your time blocking, Slack for communication, and Superhuman to check your emails if you’re really on top of it. So why does every day seem like you’re juggling multiple things at once? Constantly switching tabs, screens, and sifting through unread messages gets tiring, and even with all of the “right” tools, it can feel like something is missing.
This doesn’t mean abandoning your regimen entirely. Instead, try incorporating April for the missing piece. April is a voice-driven executive assistant that brings your calendar and email together just through conversation. It connects your tools and lets you manage your work naturally. April can integrate with your current system already.

April and Google Calendar
Managing your time can be done with just your voice. While your calendar plans out your day, April keeps it in sync. You can ask about what’s next on your schedule, add a new event, or reschedule a meeting just through one sentence. I personally tried asking what I’ve spent the most time on in the past week, so that I can get a sense of where my time is going and what areas to streamline for next week (stay tuned for how I use April next week). April already knows your availability: no need for a when2meet or schej from your side. It handles the logistics so you can focus on the work that is most meaningful to you.

April and Superhuman
April can complement your use of Superhuman. April requires no keyboard, and can read summaries of unread emails, remind you of urgent ones, and draft quick replies. Instead of scrolling through your entire inbox, use April for on-the-go during commutes and Superhuman when you’re at your desk.

April and Slack
Slack is where the internal team conversations happen, but it can be easy to get lost in all the threads. April helps you stay organized before you even open Slack, so you know what to tackle first. By clearing your inbox and calendar first, you have the context to prioritize your messages once you’re online. You can start your day with Slack since everything else is sorted; by the time you open Slack, you are ready to engage, not react with the workday. If you’d like April to connect to slack send us an email and we’ll see what we can do about it.

April and Notion
April focuses on the front-end of productivity by clearing your inbox and managing your time, so that you can use tools like Notion to capture the inspiration, ideas, and follow-ups that result from your time saved with April. Think of this system as April deciding what matters, and Notion storing what matters.
April isn’t trying to overtake your productivity stack, but rather connects it together so that it can be naturally efficient. Emails are insights, and calendar invites are opportunities instead of one chaotic mess. Try April and implement it in your productivity ecosystem today.
